Vineeta Jagana
With an interest and passion for healthcare and wellness, Vineeta has pursued her bachelor’s in biochemistry and is currently working on her master’s in cell biology with a focus on scientific research. She found BCAGlobal when looking to deepen her ties to the community and expand her influence on immediate problems. Her involvement has strengthened her dedication to this work, and she hopes to help spread the organization’s powerful mission. She enjoys working with people and wants to do as much as she can to help others!
Aside from her volunteering with BCAGlobal, Vineeta has a profound love of animals and loves to volunteer at local animal shelters. She also enjoys hikes with her dog, gardening, and cooking. She is a classically trained Bharatanatyam dancer, starting at the age of five. After dancing for over 20 years, she still loves dance and mentors students in her dance academy when back home in Texas. The younger students have always looked at her as a role model, and she enjoys working with them to help improve their dancing. She also spends time volunteering at homeless shelters, investing time in healthcare literacy, and supporting mental health organizations. She believes in mind and body wellness to improve overall health.
BCAGlobal’s mission statement and projects resonate with Vineeta, so she now serves as co-chair for the advisory council to help build relationships and connections through social media. She hopes to recruit more people to get involved in this organization’s important work.
